The Mercedes Benz CLK DTM, a genuine track car with its base of a trueluxury sedan, this car has awesome power and looks that are out of this world.

The new Ferrari 430 Scuderia will join the road-going V8 line-up alongside the F430 coupe and the F430 Spider. The 430 Scuderia is a truly high-performance 2-seater berlinetta which demonstrates how Ferrari’s Formula 1 know-how is carried across to its production cars.
The new model is a special series based on the F430 and is aimed specifically at Ferrari’s most passionate and sports-driving oriented clients. Development focused on light weight, minimum trimmings and innovative technology. All this to exalt the car’s extremely high-performance and ability to thrill the driver.
The new car can count on an extremely low weight-to-power ratio of just 2.45 kg per bhp thanks to a low dry weight of just 2755 lb - 220 lb less than the F430 - and to the naturally-aspirated 4308cc V8’s 510 bhp at 8500 rpm.
Superb performance both on and off the track is assured by a series of cutting-edge solutions. There is the latest software - F1 Superfast - which reduces gearchange times to just 60 milliseconds, and new traction control which, for the first time, combines the E-Diff electronic differential and the F1-Trac traction and stability control in a single integrated system.
Vehicle dynamics, control and performance thus represent the zenith of Ferrari’s achievements in terms of developing road-certified sports cars.
The 430 Scuderia will be officially unveiled by Michael Schumacher at the IAA Motor Show in Frankfurt in September 2007.

Porsche is on a roll now that it’s committed to giving the 911 a facelift. Porsche has already revealed the carrera and carreras .(including 4 and 4s versions),targa 4 and 4s version, and last week we saw a spy shot of the updated turbo. So what’s left are the updates to the GT2, GT3, GT3 RS. All will likely look the same (except for the extra room for the GT2’s turbocharger,) so this spy shot of the GT3 RS should hold for the rest of the speciality line.
Set to debut in 2010, the biggest improvement will be in the engine bay. The addition of direction injection should boost performance noticeably past the current GT3 RS’s 415 hp. Exterior changes include LED daytime lights, redesigned taillights, larger air intakes and a new lip spoiler.

Less than a month ago Mercedes-Benz showed the world its new E-Class sedan at the 2009 Detroit Auto Show. Now a limousine based on the car has been spied driving on a public road. One question asked at this point in time would go something like "why would anyone hide an E-Class limo under heavy camouflage"? The answer would be "only if it was an official E-Class Pullman." Of course that is pure speculation right now but any other explanation needs serious scrutiny. Independent limo companies simply start a job using an existing vehicle and finish it inside a workshop. They hardly ever venture out into the open for testing purposes like the big manufacturers let alone hide their unfinished work this way.
If indeed this is an E-Class Pullman what can be expected from it is a car stretched to over 5 metres (based on the fact that a 2009 S-Class Pullman measures 6.4 metres) in length. It would be fitted with all manner of passenger-pampering amenities such as DVD screens, plush leather interior, satellite navigation, a powerful sound system and maybe even a bar fridge. The windows appear thick and green leading to speculation that this is a bulletproof Guard version too.

The 2008 Porsche 911 GT2 is the latest model added to the 911 model range, already the broadest ever offered. The addition of the GT2 marks the third time the 911 has been offered in GT2 form.
The 2008 GT2 is the quickest and fastest Porsche 911 ever built, capable of 0-60 mph acceleration times under 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 204 mph.
It also offers race-car agility. But the most amazing thing is there's no down side (other than the price, of course). It's quite easy to live with this car and it could even be a daily driver. That's in a car with performance that would have been competitive at Le Mans not too long ago.
Unlike some other models, like the GT3, which is intended for and homologated for, track racing, the 911 GT2 is a completely equipped, luxury-laden road car that just happens to be lighter, quicker, faster and more agile than the other 911 models.
In essence, the GT2 is a slightly stripped-down 911 Turbo with more power, lightweight components and without all-wheel drive. Its closest competitors in price would be a Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera or an Aston Martin V8 Vantage , both of which it can outrun easily. The GT2 costs a less than the Ferrari F430 and the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione.
The 911 GT2 comes with a twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter flat six that generates 530 horsepower, 50 hp more than the Turbo, with 505 pound-feet of torque available from just above idle to 4500 rpm, making it extremely flexible and willing in any of its six gears. It gets the extra 50 hp by using its two turbochargers with a very clever new intake system. While most other 911 models are offered with a choice of transmissions, the GT2 is manual only.

Despite it’s BMW X6-like looks, this isn’t a crossover coupe kinda thing, it’s actually a C-segment executive sedan, set to be Volvo’s new weapon against the likes of the BMW 3-Series and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. We’ll see it on the roads in 2010, but for now let’s have a look at the concept version.
Under the hood is a new 1.6 liter GTDi engine. GTDi stands for Gasoline Turbocharged Direct Injection and it can produce 180 horsepower from such a small displacement engine. The GTDi engine also has start-stop function, and is mated to a Powershift twin clutch transmission. CO2 emissions are rated at 119g/km and fuel consumption is pegged at 5.0 liters consumed per 100km travelled. Some technical features that help achieve this fuel consumption and also contribute to better aerodynamics are flat underbody panels, the use of lightweight materials, and a grille shutter which closes to reduce air drag whenever there is less need for air cooling.
The exterior is clearly derived from the aggressive styling of the Volvo XC60, but there are little touches here and there which make you feel they really paid attention to detail with the car. For example, the headlamps have Scandinavian influences in it. Apparently they create the image of two miniature Viking longboats sailing side by side, one for the main beam and one for the dipped beam. This will probably be dropped in the production version for a conventional projector and reflector combination.
Volvo says the lines on the car do not end abruptly but instead flows continuously from the front to the end of the car, inspired by fast sweeps of a race track. The X6-like stance is probably due to the large 7-spoke wheels which are 20 inches in size and wrapped with low profile tyres. Hiding behind the wheel spokes are brake calipers which are painted bronze to match the exterior “Warm Liquid Copper” color.
The interior is much more experimental, and according to Volvo Cars design director Steve Mattin, it indicates Volvo’s future interior design direction. The floating center stack has been revealed previously and is made of solid Orrefors crystal, but we probably won’t see such luxury in the production v
ersion. This center stack flows from the instrument panel all the way to the rear seat’s backrest.
Anyway, enough of the design details, as sometimes a designer’s justification of the themes that inspired his design does not make sense. Let’s have a look at the safety features that Volvo has built into the new Volvo S60 Concept. which hopefully will cross over to the production model, or another production Volvo at least if they are too
expensive to include with a C-segment car.
Volvo has allowed the car to automatically brake to avoid collisions with the car in front of you if the difference of speed between the two vehicles is less than 25km/h. This is because apparently studies show that half of all drivers who hit another vehicle from behind do not brake prior to the collision.
In an emergency, the driver gets an audible warning with a white flashing light in the windscreen’s HUD. It looks like a flashing brake light coming on in front. This is an enhancement over the current system found in cars such as the S80 where a light on top of the dash flashes, but now its changed to a flashing in the heads-up display. If the driver does not respond to this warning and collision is imminent, the car brakes with full braking power. However the main idea is still to warn the driver of the impending collision and let him take evasive action on his own, with the auto brake to be used only at the very last minute as a last resort.

The Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S is scheduled for a Detroit 09 debut and is supposed to be the “ultimate expression of Maserati’s sportiness” in the Quattroport range. While power is only up by a very little amount, most of the technical changes that differentiate the Quattroporte S and this new Sport GT S are in the details such as how aggressive it look and what kind of sound emits from its exhaust.
A minor increase from 317kW to 323kW (433 bhp) is achieved via remapping the 4.7 liter V8 engine also found in the Quattroporte S. The car’s gearshift management software also has been updated. The fron and rear suspension features single-rate dampers, stiffer springs and also contribute to lowering the car’s ride height.
On the exterior, the Sport GT S has a new black grille with concave vertical fins. The Trident logo has red accents, similiar to other sporty Maseratis. The headlamps have a metallic titanium finish, and the side trim on the doors, door handles, and twin oval exhaust tailpipes is called “shadowline”, which once again implies a darker look.

Maserati is a brand that is not only very, very rare but if you are lucky enough to actually have the money to buy a car like this? Oh, it is going to cost you a pretty, pretty penny.
The Mserati MC12 Corsa #3 is actually one of the best cars in the world when you are in the market for a sports car – it is certainly one car that I know will go for a heck of a lot of money and the proud owner will certainly be willing to pay it. After all, who would sell a used Mserati MC12 Corsa #3?

The greatest thing I think about the 2010 Nissan 370Z Roadster is the fact that it is not the typical run-of-the-mill type of car. It is a car that is actually different looking and while it might be a convertible, it is still one of the sportiest looking cars I think.
While right now – no word on pricing for the 2010 Nissan 370Z Roadster, I have to say that I think that it is going to go fast.

Now, onto the specs of this beautiful car; the Pontiac Solstice is actually equipped with a pretty standard 2.4-liter, 173 HP engine that can achieve about 19 miles to the gallon in the city and 25 on the highway. This car is a 5-speed manual with overdrive and the price ranges anywhere from $24,000 all the way up to about $31,000.
The Pontiac Solstice is the way to go – in my mind at least. The body is chic and sleek and it just looks beautiful from bumper to bumper!

Everything from the front all the way to the back looks beautiful and this car is actually a top race car. It has a 530 HP, 4.2 liter V8 engine with a super charger. It also sits on standard 20-inch BR wheels, which are extremely stylish yet durable all around. This car can go from 0 to 100km’s in just 3.9 seconds and the top speed for this particular car is going to be about 317 km.

In 2004 and 2008 Porsche produced limited editions of the Boxster bearing the additional name Spyder, honoring the 550 and RS 60. In contrast, the new Boxster Spyder is a regular, but specially developed and upgraded production model as compared with the Boxster and Boxster S.
The 2011 Boxster Spyder goes on sale February 2010. U.S. pricing is $61,200.

Ford’s P71-package Crown Victorias have held somewhat of a stranglehold on the American police car business for the past few decades; the Blue Oval claims it makes a full 75 percent of police vehicles sold each year. But with production of the current Crown Vic (pictured above) set to end in 2011 and the recent announcement of a police-spec chevrolet caprice ppv from GM, Ford risked losing its grip on the cop-car market.
Ford counters with the announcement of a new, purpose-built Police Interceptor that will replace the Crown Victoria. Currently still under development, the new PI will reportedly be safer, more durable, more efficient, and a better performer than the aging Crown Vic. As to what shape the new vehicle will take, it’s possible that Ford will follow GM’s lead and based its police car on a rear-wheel-drive Australian model, most likely the Falcon. This would not be a simple import-and-modify job, however, since Ford does claim the new car will be engineered and built in America.
Full details should be available by early 2010, with deployment of the cars set for late 2011. We smell a comparo brewing, and it has the faintest hint of bacon.

First you scan the options list -- touchscreen navigation, premium leather trim, rear parking sensors, iPod adapter, Bluetooth hands-free phone connectivity, backup camera, Alpine audio system, power-folding mirrors. Next you check the badge on the nose. Then you're sure you're looking at the wrong car.
Except you aren't. The arrival of the new mid-engine lotus Evora, due on our shores in January, may mark the first time in nearly two decades that the words "Lotus" and "shoehorn" haven't been used in the same sentence.
Following the demise of the much-unloved Excel in 1992 ("mercy killing" might be a better term), Lotus Cars stopped building two-plus-twos to concentrate instead on unleashing a steady volley of tiny, minimal-frills two-seaters -- Elises and Exiges and assorted variations thereof. Each has offered a driving experience akin to grabbing hold of a live high-voltage wire. And each has coddled its two occupants with all the comfort and luxury of a discount motel's Guantanamo suit.
Well, I'm in rainy Scotland today, and I've just finished a three-hour drive in the new Evora across green hills, past wave-swept lochs, down battered two-lane carriageways, and...I'm fine. Great, in fact. No post-go-kart stress disorder. No residual engine ringing in the ears. No lingering embarrassment at having poorly executed my dismount from the driver's seat and ended up sprawled across the asphalt with a foot caught in the steering wheel. What's more, I could've brought my wife and daughter along and they'd have thoroughly enjoyed it, too. The Evora marks a turning point for the British maker. This may be the first-ever Lotus built for everyone.

7Tune revealed new details regarding the future sports car developed in cooperation by Toyota and Subaru. And we will start with a bad new regarding the sports car set to be released in 2011, where will be no WRX or STi versions. A good news though: there might be a convertible version.
The sports car will be based on a 100mm shorter Subaru Legacy platform and will be powered by a 2.0L four cylinder boxer engine from the Impreza with a power output of 190 hp. A 6-speed gearbox will be offered initially with an automatic transmission being offered later. Weight is expected to be around 1200kg.

Ron Dennis has provided more details about the upcoming McLaren sports car.
In announcing his departure from McLaren Racing, McLaren chairman Dennis said the new range of cars will build on the reputation of the McLaren F1 and the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren. Production of the SLR will cease at the end of 2009.
Amid launches of cars more crucial to ford's future success such as the 2010 Taurus and Fusion, the automaker will introduce the 2010 FORD MUSTANG Shelby GT500, a car more crucial to the brand's performance reputation than its bottom line.
While the finishing touches were being put on the 2010 FORG MUSTANG, Carroll Shelby and the folks in the SVT stable were putting together a more powerful and more refined Shelby GT500. A glance at the front end will reveal larger upper and lower air intakes that appear ready to swallow any obstacle whole. Ford says the new front end takes styling cues from the Shelby AC Cobra 427s of the early 60s, although we'd say the resemblance is not immediately apparent.
Regardless of what it looks like, the new design should be as functional as it is aggressive. The taller powerdome hood is mounted flush and features functional extractors that bring cool air into the engine bay. The nose also boasts a new front splitter that increases downforce and reduces drag. Out back, the rear spoiler is also improved to reduce drag and contains an integrated Gurney Flap to provide downforce.
When it came to the powertrain, Ford capitalized on the advancements made with the 40th anniversary edition Shelby GT500KR. The output of the 2010 Shelby GT500 is expected to match the 540 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque generated by the KR. The downside is all that muscle from the 5.4-liter supercharged V-8 will still be channeled through a muscle-car-era solid rear axle.
The new Shelby GT500 is able to churn out the extra power compared to the previous model with the help of revised ignition and throttle calibration and a cold-air intake. The new intake uses a conical filter and a front grille snorkel, whose placement sent the trademark cobra badge slithering over to the other side of the grille. Though a few folks at Ford were afraid the change would offend Shelby, the resulting performance increase made him quite happy.
